LAS SUPERSTICIONES DE MI MADRE

Is rooted in memory, belief, and inherited ritual, my work explores the superstitions passed down by my mother—once a source of embarrassment, now a bridge to understanding. Through photography and film, I reinterpret these moments, blurring the line between myth and memory. Each image is a reflection of both protection and fear, humor and reverence, personal history and cultural inheritance. This series is a meditation on the ways superstition shapes identity, reconnecting me to my mother, my ancestry, and the unseen forces that linger between logic and faith.
